Setting goals: Our resolutions for this year
The turn of the year is an occasion for many to set goals for the new year. We also have some good resolutions that we want to realize. Because 2021 has the potential to be a really good year, it just needs to be used.
The classic among New Year's resolutions: Finally quit smoking. This year is the end of the malodorous vice. Instead, a reflection on inner strength and a reassurance of one's own competencies helps to keep a cool head even in stressful situations.
Sinking into books
In Germany, fewer and fewer physical books are being read. But sinking into a book is one of the best ways to clear your head and lose yourself in a dream world. Whether historical stories or red-hot thrillers, reading is a virtue. That's why it's a firm goal for us to read more again this year.
Finally get back into sports
A healthy mind should reside in a healthy body. That means effort, but exercising regularly makes for better concentration and self-esteem. Also a common resolution, but unlike most, we don't let wind and weather stop us from jogging outside or taking fitness classes.
Eat better and cook more ourselves
Cooking is an art, but in our time-consuming day at the agency, we're usually too tired to go shopping for fresh vegetables in the evening and let off steam at the stove. One of our resolutions, however, is not to be tempted by couches and frozen food, but to take the spoon into our own hands. After all, cooking for yourself can also be relaxing and is much healthier in the long run.
Taking the time to create something is a luxury. But creative projects are important. That's why we want to be artistic again this year. Whether with brush and canvas, the camera or musically: the main thing is to make something yourself. Therefore, it is another intention of ours to throw ourselves into artistic activities with heart and soul. Who knows what inspiration can also be taken to the agency.
