The Griffel Year in Review: Our highlights in 2020
The year 2020 will stay in our memories for a long time: The Corona pandemic threw our daily work routine into disarray and made us question previously trivial ways of life. But not everything was bad or chaotic; in the midst of the crisis, there were numerous highlights at our agency.
For our clients, 2020 was definitely not a washout. We specifically brought old and new customers into the conversation, including with major coverage on ARD, ZDF and 3sat. In this way, we not only put our business partners' companies in the media spotlight, but also addressed important topics, such as plastic recycling, sustainable wood products and electromobility.
We also look back on great teamwork that worked even during the difficult lockdown phases. Home office did prevent us from seeing each other in the office every day, but with video meetings and a good internal structure, even these obstacles were a breeze. Plus, it made the summer reunion all the more enjoyable. This is followed by weekly cooking sessions where we got together and spent our lunch breaks together. Team building with delicacies!
So we look back on 2020 with mixed feelings: even though many things changed and we didn't see each other in the office as often as we would have liked, the year was far from a washout. For next year we hope for an improvement, of course, but this year we managed well despite difficulties.
